Hard to imagine anyone not owning FTL already. How's Breach by comparison?
e: On the topic of freebies, I have a copy each of Frozen Synapse, Limbo, Machinarium and Spacechem if anyone wants any of them.

Forced kovah to take Machinarium, but the others are still moping about in my inventory. I suspect most anyone interested have played Limbo and Frozen Synapse (which is not even that good really) before, but Spacechem is still a puzzle gem for those that enjoy elaborate machine-building.
