I61 tickets available
-
I know a lot of people already bought theirs with the season pass for i60 + 61, but for anyone that hasn't, i61 tickets are available now.
With my holidays approved with work and my hotel booked months ago, I just booked the BYOC plus, which is BYOC + EAS packaged in one (No cheaper than it used to be separately though).
I do sort of regret not coming to Easter LAN, but at least my attendance to summer LAN is confirmed!
-
"BYOC Plus" is all I need right, as in, the EAS thing is now folded in, and I am not missing some other add-on I should be picking up?
edit: Signed up! Will have a bit of a messy summer, but 95% sure I will make it. Seems a good last sight of Europe before going back to South Africa for the rest of the year
-
BYOC Plus is standard BYOC + EAS, no camping or any other extras included. It advertises it as "Access to the festival for 5 days, Check in to festival from 9am on the first day (Thur) EAS" so that should cover everything.
-
I got all the tickets set for next lan good thing though I used my game gift card and points to drop the price from £99 to £50
-
Tickets set, and a hotel booking (got that already last September). I am also flush with frequent flier points, so I'll make it there and back for "free" again. As long as my international travel plans don't mess up I am pretty sure this is happening
Trickiest bit is the computer situation. Unsure whether I should buy some NUC-style thing with a decent GPU, or try to limp along with a weak laptop GPU. The latter saves me depending on monitor rental but may mean I am pretty restricted on games again.
-
I have a ticket, but lan is slap bang on my new companies year end! So I am going to have to wing this one hopefully I will be able to come Thursday/Friday as well but it may be tricky!
-
Me and Smesh have our tickets
They may well be doing rental pc's bundles again, I will keep an eye out for information on them.
-
Since I'll be travelling a lot I need a laptop that I can do a modicum of gaming on either way, though granted, I may have to scrape by on something fairly limited to make it both affordable and sufficiently portable. Plus, no idea if Tango is considering going yet, so well worth keeping an eye on either way

Just to point out: https://athena.gg/pages/27/Insomnia61
There is no EAS any more there is BYOC Plus.
We won't be buying VIP tickets, they will be ££££
-
Literally the only thing that don't seem like a foppish waste of the VIP stuff is parking. Lets have a cocktail in the VIP bar while the butler brings in the computer dear~
-
Idk, leather swivel chair and someone to bring your 2 monitors has its appeal
Then again I'd only buy it if said porter was going to accompany me on the train from Derby and carry my stuff all the way there.
