Lords of Waterdeep
-
Just thought I would share this link with you all, Smesh, Kovah and myself picked this little game up in the sale.
Its a chilled out table top game where you have to screw over everyone else and achieve your goals, for people who would like to sit back and scheme in the evenings for a bit!

How's the single-player?
-
Well I lost to the tutorial so I am not to sure!
You seem to be able to add up to 7 opponents and there are 3 levels of hardness, it may be fairly simple once you figure out but until I play it a little more i wont be able to say.

I love this game
AI is entertaining enough for single player to play well.
-
Changed my mind. Stupid game
-
God dam thats brutal!

Not knowing much about this game I will based on the picture assume that Smesh specifically won the dour squinting contest. It indeed looks close.
Will pick this one up, I do like boardgame time wasters, I played so much single-player Ticket to Ride for unclear reasons

Christmas waterdeep is now on the cards
-
I did win the tutorial game at least!
-
This man cheats!

The AI is unfortunately quite poor (at least the AI level seems to make almost no difference), means I'll have to try to join in multiplayer a bit more often :s

Bob, however, is pretty good. Must be his long D&D experience finally paying off, navigating the lore with ease~
Legit fun game, I was pretty worried that it would be one of those german-style games where one really ends up just playing different games at the same time with minimal interaction. The interaction here is pretty good though, no huge issue to not pay a ton of attention to your opponents turn, but one can also make some hay from focusing a bit.
