Steam Summer Sale

Steam Summer Sale tomorrow! What are the things to look out for?
If Dominions 4 gets a deep discount I will try to fool some of the more likely suspects to pick it up (play-by-email-level strategy thing where one spends 1-20 minutes a day making moves, incredibly filled with obscure details to know to win), setting up a server on clancrazy.pro.
Will make other likely suspects pick up Obduction if it gets a -50% or so, Myst for the 21st century.
I have managed no plans whatsoever for what to pick up myself, but despite a lengthy backlog I will take the opportunity this time, as I sort of need to play out more nice single-player (or lag-insensitive multiplayer) distractions.

dark souls 3 still
-
Worms WMD
-
Worms WMD is good advice. Dark Souls bad advice as I am bad at games and don't like being reminded of it.
-
Everyone is bad at DS3 that's what makes it fun
-
Playerunknown battlegrounds: very fun BR game.
Tekken 7: Amazing fighting game I do have it for PS4 since the is more of a fighting online community but even from what I seen the PC port is great. So much better than SFV.
Hearts of Iron IV: Really good RTS WW2 game even if WW2 is not your thing the is a lot of mods on steam workshop historic or alt history even a modern day mod. I would also say only get the base game and do not get the DLC for it. The DLC is pretty much over priced mods also that for some reason Paradox games are being dicks and raised all the prices for all the DLC's again form all of the title games.
New games I might pick up
Shadow Tactics, Doom, Mafia 3, Rising storm 3
-
I have to imagine that playerunknown is too new for any real sale though. I will hold of a bit yet.
Speaking of Dark Souls though, this little indie sidescroller gets compared to it now and then, and have come very highly recommended to me: http://store.steampowered.com/app/367520/Hollow_Knight/
-
Did in the end pick up Dark Souls 3 and Hollow Knight. Will see if anything else catches my eye. WMD on the list, but much like Dominions (in another thread), it one of those that goes with a critical mass of players to make it make sense (as I expect general multiplayer will be a wasteland populated primarily by a few savants who has spent every day since 1995 practicing their ninja rope skills).

siiiiiick its so fun
-
kovah just reminded me by buying it - Ori and the blind forest is a MUST if you want/like platformery type things
-
Oh, yeah, anything with a sort of deeper artistic idea while being a good game is a given, I will pick it up come morning.
-
Got the squad, its like an online arma that works.
-
I bought Ori and the Blind Forest! SO GOOD.
And also secret of the magic crystals because i wanted in on bobs magical horse breeding game.
-
Dammit Kovah there can only be one secret of the magic crystal and its mine!
I have picked up project zomboid and table top simulator!
-
Oh, yeah, Tabletop Simulator remains a must-do thing, I have kept having absolutely godawful internet and been busy so much so far this year, but I do love some light boardgaming.
I feel I must point out though, that despite all you guys getting to hear is this complaining (as the gaming end is what has suffered the most), I have had a far better time of all things this year than I did last year. So don't misunderstand the complaints
-
I bought Worms WMD, but it does not appear that a single person on my friends list have this game
-
I'll pick it up too though, if it is just the two of us it is a waste of money, but may fool others into the trap yet.
-
Is watchdogs 2 any good at all, I got watchdogs 1 during Xmas sales and got my money back since the game ran like dog crap.
-
I haven't played it, but then from all I have understood from the internet opinion the sequel was at least not a shameful attempt, but still entirely forgettable. Otoh I am also the guy who has Sleeping Dogs, the supposedly far superior *Dogs game, and have never gotten around to playing it, so I may just be less starved for new content in the genre
-
This is the lamest sale I can remember. The discounts are mediocre and judging by my activity feed people aren't buying much. Where is BlueEagle's usual fifty purchases?
