CSaur teaches you to play D&D

So, I know it's been thrown around a few times with no real progress, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me running a Dungeons & Dragons (5th edition) one-shot for those that haven't played before/in a long time and want to get the jist of it?
It'd be a couple of hours (3 at most), starting from the very basics on how to play with a short adventure for you to try and get to grips with the mechanical side and see if you like the roleplay side too (dressing up and funny accents are not a requirement, but are welcome).
I'm currently just deciding whether to run it online over Roll20 (a great way to run a tabletop RPG with built in dice-roller, voice chat and on-screen map), or wait until LAN and attempt to run it there if we can find a space (That one could be more tricky, depending on whether I have a car by that point and whether we can find anywhere to do it)
Let me know if you'd be interested in it, and once I have an idea of numbers I will look at setting up a date (probably during an afternoon on a weekend, or if people are more evening inclined I could do it like 6/7pm for a couple of hours.)

Ooh, killing some kobolds and stealing their pants!
Playing at LAN could be fun as well (checked "play online"), but one has to keep in mind that we may get screwed on timings of all kinds of things there, with people entering tournaments (I'll do the DOTA with whatever I can gather up this year) and whatever weird events get in the way. Perhaps ideal if a moment can be found to do an online thing so we know what we are doing beforehand at least?

Sounds fun but god dam I am lazy! I will pass for the moment but a little game at lan could be a chuckle!

I'd be quite interested I think. Never played before myself, shameful for a geek, right?

Online or LAN are both good!
