Lot of stuff. Aghanims shards (consumable hero-specific buff, costing 1400 gold) for all heroes.
-
Clockwerk, already the coolest hero in the game, gets cooler for example:
-
This seems actually fantastic, the duration is semi-irrelevant, and free vision is always broken:
-
As usual the obvious big change (Aghanim Shards) is probably still not the biggest deal in the list. E.g. game starting at night-time, turning to daytime at 00:00, will make contesting runes a whole different game. Blink can be upgraded in an int/agi/str way (with the 25 stats items of each) with different effects. The list is not super-long outside the shards (notably no map changes), but it is interesting.
-
so far 100% win rate this patch!
-
@black-bob Any updates on this number?
-
I think actually what I'll do in 7.28 is play 4-pos Batrider every game, and when my team are total wimps refusing to initiate/push I'll just lasso my 1-pos (Smesh and Bob having very poor nerves otherwise ;)) and drag him into the fight/base/whatever.
-
I approve of this strategy, vaette.
Also big win rate increase on Puck, so you started playing that again just in time. -
Oh, that is real good news. I hadn't read the changes very carefully, but indeed a bunch of number bumps for Puck (where most of "my" other heroes have gotten very little).
-
Misunderstood NP shard initially, you can just sprout and upon it ending you get two super treants. So that seems pretty good actually, on a hero that can easily get it even out of support positions.
Levels 1 and 2 are even worse than before though, so it probably has to core. Might try another offlane game on it one of these days, but I don't have very high hopes.

Nyx deservedly nerfed, was very funny hero to play while broken though, 800 movespeed with his kit was basically impossible to deal with for most teams.
-
Still like the patch, despite being on one of my largest loss streaks of all time (and, no, it is not just picking particularly bad heroes). Feels pretty fresh and dynamic.
-
I will be back soon haha then the loss spree will continue when I try to play whilst vastly out of practice in a game with a completely new meta, Just waiting for month end to be over at work so Thursday next week I may make my return.

I think you'll pretty easily improve on games though, I think one part of the problem currently is that we have a bit too many supports, and a pretty slow style (i.e. hard farmers and such). So you taking over some of my suicide plays will almost surely help
-
@vaette who could have possibly thought that anyone would ever say "we have too many supports" - is this even dota?
-
Even when we win games we lose: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/5807245670

Tango tried to fool us into carrying by claiming it was a lack of confidence, but, really, carry consists of being angry for the first 20 minutes as the whole map tries to pick on you, and then maybe you get to play the game
-
@vaette true. Insanely awful sometimes.
-
@vaette was i ahead of my time picking riki? Apparently its good now. (It was good before, but...)
-
Yeah, seems pretty popular, pops up now and then at our tier and sees some pro play. May be more Masons than your influence though
