I am really enjoying Diabotical. As predicted I am doing terrible, but it has a lot of neat little touches which makes it still feel pretty friendly. Going to practice up a bit and see if I can't keep this in rotation.

A very simple game to pick up and play. Too bad Quake Champions never worked out.

Yeah, a bit surprising, being so bad at those kinds of shooters I feel like I needed it to be more popular for simple reasons of matchmaking.

That's very true. With a small player base it's only the ones who are good at it who stick around, making it harder for new players to get in. Game modes that work very well in casual would also help.
For me at least the game is hindered by the fact that it's on Epic. Apex had a huge upswing again after it moved to Steam.

In upsides there Epic is probably paying 2gds bills pretty well, and the game itself can get a second chance when the deal (presumably) expires. We'll see, not the kind of thing that ages super-quick anymore.

Yep was good for a couple weeks, then it not being steam resulted in me forgetting it existed.
