Actually Tango has a good point, in that brexit is now very likely January 31st, and the visa situation is bound to be a complete mess for most of the year. They'll have to do a bunch of makeshift regulation to not have the borders just lock down fully, but even after that they need to actually build up the organization to handle matters. Certainly would be stupid to start buying tickets before March or so when it becomes clear what the state of things even is.

As far as things that can go wrong it being inconvenient to go to easter lan from the rest of Europe is pretty low down the list
