Unreal Tournament died long ago by Epic's decision to have almost no one working on it, even fewer than Quake Champions. It was such an extremely slow drip in early access.

Play Ori and the Blind forest. Its pretty and game animation is amazing. Platformer with puzzles and skill and abit of combat.
I love weird arty games, and must in this context now recommend GRIS, which is also just beautiful graphics and animation. It is again one of those which just barely qualify as a game though, so ymmv.
The beauty of the game is only slightly undermined for me by GRIS meaning PIG in Swedish (and Norwegian I believe). I think they meant it to be read in French.

So Cyberpunk is a instant buy coming off of E3. Did like the look of Doom but Bethesda have been showing that off for a long time. Watchdogs legion looks great for me and the locations of London and the voice actors sound great so I might be getting that. That's like the only 3 I want to get.
-
Looking forward to Doom 5, but I am a little skeptical. Doom 4 was such an unexpected and nearly perfect game, I can easily imagine them "trying too hard" and screwing everything up in the sequel. I also don't know what reviewer to trust on FPS games anymore :disappointed_but_relieved_face:
I have the previous Watchdogs, but it's on the useless u-play thing so I forget I have it.

I watched the E3 content on Doom Eternal (5), and it looks sort of iffy really, lot of like space platforming and climbing on walls? Seems pretty off-brand, but otoh they claim that this is to give the game something to do between each firefight.
I still haven't played Doom 4 beyond the first few hours, but it is down to not having had a computer that can reasonably run it since it was released. To be rectified.
Seems clear though that they have the same aesthetic and sense of being that Doom 1, 2, (not you), and 4 had, and that goes a long way. Comedic grimdark technofuture with a refusal to take anything very seriously was always a pretty good take.
-
Doom 4 was even more fun the second time I played it, and I played it on a higher difficulty (ultraviolence). A bit of challenge makes the game better, unlike many other FPSes where it just turns enemies into bullet sponges.
Doom takes a couple of hours to really get into it - and the game doesn't really come into its own before Argent Tower where you can find double jump and the super shotgun. -
They are billions just released the single player campaign, seems pretty dam challanging from the start!

BL3 obvs.

"Does this Borderlands game have lots of guns and memes?"
"Yes"
"Then it is good Borderlands game" -
eagle knows.
-
Wow IGN and "Shacknews" gave it 9/10? The sure sign of good quality
/s -
lets be honest reviews dont mean shit anyway, if you like it you like it, doesn't matter if some cunt who gets paid to play it says it's good or not

Well, yeah, but I think the reviews do drive home the point that if you didn't care for the first two Borderlands you are probably not about to be won over by this one.
-
well yea i imagine that's common sense more than anything, it's always gonna be similar to the others or it wouldn't be a BL game

The Outer Worlds and Red Dead Redemption 2 look great. Too bad they are only on the epic store for now... (RDR2 got 10/10 on IGN, so you know it's good).
I just bought and started playing Hitman (2) and The Surge 2.
-
Red Dead looks like all the worst parts of Rockstar games disguised with the most polish ever in a game.
-
outer worlds is amazing
epic store is fine.
