You are entirely correct, and it has since been clarified what happened by 7.31b: Zombies used to do the basic damage type but didn't have their damage adjusted when it was removed and all damage was made the 100%/100%/100% hero type, which was 33% buff in damage for them.

Still haven't seen it, got to get around to it. By the way pretty clear from this that what takes time for Valve in releasing a new hero is recording voicelines, pretty quick turnaround right here.

A teamfight where all 10 heroes die and buy back, I suspect this might be the one factoid I remember from TI10 in the end:

So, I doubted this was a thing as we kept doing it now and then, but Secret just picked it two games in a row, winning both, against OG. The build is pretty different from what I think anyone on my team has ever built though:

+10% neutral creep gold is a Bob buff at least.

Its nice to see an actual legit reason for a variance and a simple solution they could implement to fix it.
